I started this blog as a rookie police wife in 2008. My husband (HF) graduated the police academy in May 2009. We are the proud parents of three children ages 10-16. We are also a proud police family and feel like this is what we were meant to do. Life is good.

Looks like a great gift idea MF.
It was funny, at the agency I worked at, we signed everything with a 5 digit employee number--but our badge number was different and it was never used. When someone would ask, I'd have to pull my shirt up and look.
Citizens would complain to a supervisor about officer badge number 234 or officer badge number 876, and it was a mystery that required lots of research.
