facebook

I have recently joined Facebook and now this video makes complete sense! There were probably 10 people that I wanted to find that I lost touch with over the years. I had NO idea the craziness that would ensue. It's kind of a phenomenon to me. And now, if regularly blogging on a family blog with the most recent photos of our younguns wasn't already enough, now I have people that I haven't talked to since we were babies hassling me about updating my status, or accepting some kind of a hug message. If they're lucky, I might get on once a month.

Hahaha, I love it! It's so true. If I didn't like you then, how much has changed if I haven't seen you? I get on fb about once a month too.

I finally join FB after being bugged by by mother and sisters for a year. I was going to keep it just family, 60 "friends" later...

It is crazy with all the appls on there. I I also had a family blog but they would not comment on that but on facebook......

Hilarious because it's SO true! I have to admit, I usually go on Facebook daily, though it's rather superfluous because the people that I care about I usually see on a regular basis!

It's been really nice to stay updated with my extended family, so that may be one of the reasons why I keep going back for more. I draw the line with all the silly hugs and pillow fights and farmville whatever nonsense. That's too much for even me!

I'm not near a lot of my family or friends so facebook is a perfect way to keep better in touch. And it's much easier to show people photos on facebook than emailing.

But, as that video hilariously shows, it can be rather annoying too. I hate all the farmville (hubs is adicted), super poke, hugs, ect. And I am considering unfriending a rather creepy man that I knew as a child. Just because I once knew you doesn't mean I want you calling me hun or constantly IMing me. Then, when you tell me my sister was always your favorite and go on about your fond memories of her, that's just too weird. Give it up, dude. You are both married and each have four kids!

I joined recently as well after resisting for some time. I won't use it like most others--I simply, as you discuss, wanted to find several people that I had lost touch with over the years and it is an excellent tool for that purpose.
