I started this blog as a rookie police wife in 2008. My husband (HF) graduated the police academy in May 2009. We are the proud parents of three children ages 10-16. We are also a proud police family and feel like this is what we were meant to do. Life is good.

Powerful stuff. I got goosebumps at one point. Why on earth do we pay athletes and movie stars like we do, leaving so little for public servants? Never has made sense to me, and bums me out when I hear a piece like this. Thanks for sharing.
