more frivolous finds

kids Police car suitcase found here.

I didn't know that Little Tikes also made a little police car! Pretty cute.

Of course, I had to check out the Legos police selection. There's quite a bit. Even this adorable key chain, which is probably about the only thing HF would allow me to have on me that is police related.
I know, it's a dumb shirt, most of them are. But I had fun looking through them. There are some I like, but once again, it would have to be in the privacy of our own home as to not oust the LEO and his loved ones.

Okay, now here's my weakness. I collect children's books. Especially vintage. I love Lois Lenski books and her illustrations. She has a series of "small" books. Policeman Small, Cowboy Small, Papa Small, etc. She also has a "Littles" series. I don't have the policeman one yet. . .
I thought this was pretty cute, but like I said. These are frivolous finds. Clock found here.

Clever products. We have the Little Tikes police car in blue as well as their fire truck--they get lots of use.

We tried to get the Little Tyke's car for Alyse for her birthday, but the website say they were discontinued. She got the classic red and yellow one instead.

Each and every one of those is totally something I would buy for our future kiddos. Hubs needs a siren for an alarm clock, so I'm questionning this one...

Great sharing!! :)

Mrs. Fuzz, I don't know if there are more or not...we've just picked sets up in stores. A very delightful jewelry maker created a set of pins for me out of a Lego police man and his K9! Since there are technically two officers in our house it's really sweet to recognize both of them!

Dori- I remember now seeing a post a while back of your police lego pin. Very cool!

Yay! Ideas for this year's Christmas! These are adorable. I'm glad that other cop wives have fallen victim to discovering any police-y object and finding it an essential for the home. Fun stuff!

P.S. I was shopping the Old Navy clearance rack and found that lt. shirt you posted on earlier. Yay for good deals on top of everything else!

We have the Little Tykes car. It is one of the most fought after (yes, fought) toys in the collection.

Have you seen the Skechers sneakers that have cop lights? (I think they're called Hot Lights.) Peanut has been jonesing for them.

Hubby rigged up Peanuts motorized Jeep with LEDs. It's not as cool as the Little Tikes car, but not too shabby, either.
