policeman puppet
Our 6 year old, Daisy, came up to me last night with this puppet she made. She took a white lunch bag and drew everything on herself. I was pretty impressed with all her details, especially the belt. After she showed me her puppet, she gasped and said, "oh no! I forgot his radio and his badge!" And so those things were added on in red as you can see. She also mentioned that she drew his mustache black. I said, "why did you draw on a mustache? Daddy doesn't have one." She said, "I don't know. Cuz I just felt like it." I think she's been overhearing me talk about cops and mustaches. . . But secretly I loved that she added a mustache to the puppet. Even if it kind of looks like a sombrero on top of some teeth.

I was going to say, the mouche was a nice touch.
You haven't been letting her watch Reno 911, have you?
That is too cute. Maybe she's a fan of facial hair? I DO see the sombrero. Love the purple radio and badge. Seems like most of Little Buddy's police toys have mustaches? Hmmmm.
That's so cute!!
Ahhh, kids are so creative--nice work. I think we need more wall space for their creations.
Ha ha. Love it.
Looks like he has nice mascara too :)
That's SO cute! It goes to show how observant our kiddies are.
Anytime I read a book to my toddler son and a police officer is in it, I say, "Who's that?" with the response, "Hon!" which is what he calls the hubs since it's what I call him.
The utility belt's my favorite part!
So CUTE!!! Very Creative Im with Erin the Mustache is my fav!
She's quite the artist! That's so adorable!!
nice work. D has got a mo curtousy of movemeber (it is a charity fundraiser/mens health awareness campaign in oz) and the girls keep telling him he got his face wrong coz he doesnt have a moustache. the little one just says funnny...daddy funny! come to think of it i must blog a pic, he looks like a bad 80s movie deputy or something.
About a year and a half ago (well before we were dating), Indubitably sported a cheesy 70's porn-like mustache. He had no idea that it was the talk of the town...until I told him when we started dating. He was surprised when I told him, "Yeeeaaah...don't do that again. If you still had it, I NEVER would have asked you to go to Buffett with me."
We saw The Box this weekend and he commented on the cheesy "cop mustaches" the policemen had. I just looked at him in bewilderment. Thank God he feels that way now!
love the mustache!looks like you got yourself a great artist.
my dh would love to have a mustache like that, well any kind for that matter!lol
That is adorable. And the mustache just seems right :)
