happiness 101 award

Thank you Natalie for the Happiness 101 award! That just makes me. . . well, happy! So here are 10 things that make me happy:

  1. cowboys, country music, rodeos, and other country related things. I just love it all.

  2. boquets of sharpened pencils

  3. the smell and taste of lemons

  4. eating something or smelling something that takes me back in time

  5. rain. I will walk in it, work in it, play in it, etc. Doesn't bother me one bit.

  6. spending time in the outdoors in sunny and breezy weather

  7. listening to my favorite tunes while cleaning, cooking, relaxing, or whatever.

  8. when my kids are learning, grasping, asking, and seeking new knowledge.

  9. when my mom visits me from far far away on judea's plain. (she doesn't really live there, it just seemed like a good description of how far away it seems)

  10. Having alone time!
I'm choosing to pass this award along to the 4 newest police blogs I posted a few days ago and a few others.

Mrs. Gumshoe
The Story Lady
A View From the Porch
That Ladybug

And also:
The Ladybug Family
Cop Mama
Life While Handcuffed to a Lawman

I love your list! Can your list be on my list of things that make me happy :)

The bouquets of sharpened pencils really made me smile. Yahoo for You've Got Mail.

Mmm. Alone time. And sharpened pencils. Love it!

For me, number one is clean fresh sheets on the bed.

I'm so glad you accepted the reward! I love #4 especially, because I know exactly what you mean about certain smells sparking memories and even feelings from the past.

I definitely learned some fun facts about you. Thanks for sharing!

Fun list.

Sharpened pencils? They are like seeing a dinosaur around here or something.

Congrats on your award.
