I just read about a silent auction that NPWA is holding until Friday to help a member and her family who's husband was recently shot in the line of duty. You can read about it here at MJ's blog, Note To Self. I looked at the items that have been donated so far and there's some great things if you want to check it out. The auction started today!
Also, as I was getting caught up with NPWA, I loved MJ's post about what she did for her husband's department for National Police Week. Notice the Pigs in a Blanket. She called them Undercover Cops. Ha!
And lastly, I met a new police wife today, Stella. She blogs over at Suddenly Cop Wife.
