for sean and dori

Yes, I went to the Eclipse midnight movie premiere. Yes, I have read all the books more than once, and watched the movies a fair share of times. In fact, I found myself a little obsessed the last couple of weeks as I mentioned yesterday. It's a little embarrassing seeing how I'm not really the type of person to obsess over teen books and idols. Thankfully HF intervened and introduced me to the Twilight and New Moon RiffTrax. These are done by the Mystery Science Theater 3000 guys. Now I can't watch these movies without the Rifftrax dialogue in my head. And it really helped me move forward with my life. Thanks HF. I was even able to clean the house today and bathe the kids. And bathe myself for that matter.

I know some of you are familiar with the Twilight movies, some of you aren't. Basically this scene from the clip above is Edward playing Bella the lullaby that he wrote for her. They have just fallen in love, she found out that he was a vampire, he took her to meet his "family" and they are spending every moment together at this point. But, there is one problem. Even though he loves her more than life itself, he equally wants to kill her and drink her blood. Even if you haven't seen the Twilight movies, and whether you love it or hate it, you will still be able to appreciate this clip. It did make me think of Sean and Dori  however, as they have made their feelings on sparkly vampires very clear! Or at least shown a preference for the old school vampires. . .

Back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow.

I have to admit I don't follow this but...do you recognize the name Taylor Lautner, or something like that? Indubitably just worked a security detail for him last night. He's apparently staying in our community, working on a film?

Lol nice! And yes, give me old-fashioned, non-perfect vamps any day! Thanks for the link.

Aw...that's just the sweetest thing! Bela Lugosi would be proud...

I actually DID enjoy the books. I'm a book whore that way. :) But I could NOT make it through the first movie. I much preferred my own imagination!

Delighted you received the intervention you needed! I heart Mystery Science 3000. They're my kind of wacko!
