hello again

I just finished recovering from Mama Mia's visit. It usually takes me a good week to 2 weeks to recover. I don't know why, but that's just how it is.

Then as soon as I recover, I've got the Independence Day madness going on. I don't know about you, but where I live, the 4th is celebrated for a good 1-2 weeks! I love Summertime. I think my absence in blogland can be attributed to being in the great outdoors and eating lots of watermelon. And then there was that very brief Twilight obsession that overtook me recently. I am officially no longer Robsessed (addicted to Robert Pattinson) much to HF's delight. I'm not proud, but what can I say?

In other (terrifying) news, I just got home from hanging out with a Tongan friend. My baby Beau, who is 20 months old, bent over and put his head on the ground and looked through his legs. Babies do this all the time. It's not a big deal. She gasped and looked at me and asked me if I was pregnant. She said that in Tongan culture that means you are pregnant or about to become pregnant. I seriously doubt it's true for me, but who am I to discount Tongan traditions? So be on the lookout for your toddlers doing that. It may mean something more. . .

dear Mrs. Fuzz,
Good Lord, I don't wonder. After a hurricane, people need time to prop everything back up!

I am sure she is a loving woman who also takes you to an alternate universe!

Your children are gorgeous. Even when they're yelling. Of course pictures don't talk. . . my sister and I used to fight constantly and we get along great these days. Maybe that will comfort you?

So precious. I love the pics. I love the headshot of Daisy down towards the bottom. You are inspiring me to do this for my children. They will be SO OLD SO SOON and I will have missed it all. :O
