Do you see what doesn't belong?
It's a handcuff key.
And today when I got in my car to run some errands, sitting next to me in the passenger seat was this orange rubber mallet from HF's accident investigation kit. My first thought was, "this could actually come in handy. . . " Any unusual finds in your homes or cars this week?

Oh my goodness! Mrs. Fuzz I hope you will be happy to know that I have found the SAME thing! Most of the time the key ends up in the candy dish on the fireplace. Why it is there I don't know. LOL.
Today I did find an old pair of cuffs on the bed. Yes, being married to a cop my mind also went right into the gutter, until I noticed they were hinged cuffs and not chain cuffs. And I do know, in a none fun way, that hinged cuffs hurt!
I find that same hand cuff key every.where!
Besides the odd strangers' drivers license, I find rubber gloves EVERYWHERE.
You have an award on my blog!

LMAO! Are you sure you weren't at my house? Cops are so much alike. Only I still keep my house like a woman and Hubs leaves things out like HF.
My hubby is pretty good about not leaving that stuff around. The only thing that I do find about once a week is the nasty pair of leather gloves that he ALWAYS leaves in the back pocket of his pants.
LOL that is funny that you found the handcuff key there, of all places.
That is too funny!
Tons of crap in the dryer- handcuff keys and bullets are the most common.
Once I dropped something underneath the seat of the car (very early on in our marriage) and I reached under and pulled out like this huge billy club!!!! That was one of those dizzying like "omg, WHO did I marry?" moments.
Anyways- I loved this post! So fun. :)
A gun in the glove box of our car. Not "unusual" except that he couldn't find it (as in: couldn't remember where he left it...) and I wasn't looking for it. (shhhh, I promised I wouldn't blog about it)
