one year anniversary
I got an email from Justin at PoliceOne about the Lakewood Four. Today marks the one year anniversary of the four officers who were murdered in Lakewood, Washington. PoliceOne put together a video that tells the story. It's hard to watch, but the ending is bittersweet and reminds me that we are a big family and that there are great people everywhere and in the communities within you serve. Thanks PoliceOne for putting this together. We will never forget Sgt. Mark Renninger and officers Ronald Owens, Tina Griswold, and Greg Richards.

I can't believe it has been a year. It still feels so recent. I have two dear friends who work in emergency services up in the Tacoma area (Fireman and 911 dispatcher) who were both working this day. Still such a tender wound.
