coming up for air

Hello Minions,

Just when you thought I'd neglected this blog completely, I have an update!

Halloween happened. We had a chicken, a knight, and a lovely Cleopatra. Our daughter couldn't decide what to be for Halloween and we told her it didn't matter. She could be whatever she wanted. She finally whispered in HF's ear, "Do Egyptians still have slaves?" HF told her no. Then she said enthusiastically, "Okay! I'll be Cleopatra then!" She has such an old soul for a 7 year old. We thought it was hilarious that this was her concern all along. Such a conscientious little girl.

Very cool.

We had a ghost, Snow White, and a reluctant Charlie Brown.
