Ha ha! That was too funny! My ex husband used to get a stomach ache and tell me, "I was buckled over in pain!"

Yeah? Okay, dude. Try having cramps once a month...poor little bunny. ;)

Too funny. I have not been able to get away with that since getting married. Actually Marine dad would not let me put on that act either...

OMG, this is so patheticly accurate. Oh, and I could almost laugh when Cop Dad has woken up and told me how tired he was, how his head hurt, etc. WHILE I'M PREGNANT and my ankles are swollen, I'm caring for a crabby kid, and doing all the chores and feeling nauseous. OY! They are pretty funny. I told his mother on him and she was all shocked and eye ball rolls. lol

I told mine to crawl back under the rock he came out from under, because I have him, 2 daughters and a MIL that are all sick, 2 sons that are getting sniffy and I still had to cook and do laundry and get kids to activities, and he was all "I don't feel good!"
Wah!

Hubby's the biggest wuss of us all whenever anybody gets sick, so I can relate a little TOO well.

Pink eye just went through the family, and right before family pics so we've had to re-schedule multiple times before just saying, "We'll call you when we're healthy." Blah! The kiddies had it for, like, a day and it cleared up, while the hubs spread it from one eye to the other because he was always rubbing them!

Actually, I sympathized a bit when he was on day shift because everyone he stopped or talked to kept asking what happened to his eye(s) and could care less WHY he was there. He looked stoned.

On a more serious note, and in defense of men, in the time I've been on the job, we've had two different guys who continued to work with cancer, and while being treated- including chemo (why the department allowed them to work is another story and another issue). And on the shift I'm responsible for, I have to send guys home because they are sick more often than I have them calling in sick when I know they shouldn't. So, despite the fact we don't have a uterus, cut us a little slack, eh? :)

Christopher- that's pretty amazing. Cancer? I guess there's some pretty tough guys out there after all.
