one year ago. . .

One year ago today yesterday, I did my very first post on this blog as Mrs. Fuzz. Let's take a look at how things have changed.
  1. I'm still excited for the premiere of LOST season 6, although not as excited as last year. Last year, I was watching so much tv online because I was nursing a newborn all night long.
  2. I am no longer losing clumps of hair. Must've been related to the aforementioned newborn. I do still think about the 10 pound hairball however. It will probably haunt my memories for as long as I live.
  3. Instead of dealing with 3 weeks without having HF around, it's been a year now and I'm coping just fine.
  4. Nope. Nothing changed there, except I no longer share my bed with the baby.
We have a busy itinerary the next couple of weeks:
  • Luke's 4th birthday (Robot birthday- it's going to be awesome)
  • My 30th birthday (hoping HF will make it awesome)
  • teaching a cooking class
  • a major event with HF's work that I'm not allowed to mention yet. . .
  • my parents coming for a visit
  • playing the organ for a church choir 3x a month-takes a lot of practice!
That's just barely scratching the surface of what's going on. I'm also trying to get our family a little better organized. I am trying to plan out daily/weekly/monthly chores, meal planning and cooking, and a new exercise routine. I want both kids to get into a sport of their choosing, I'm doing home preschool with Luke, trying to get Daisy into a charter school, taking care of our own food storage and emergency supplies, and trying to help others where we can. We are also trying to set up a new budget. We just got our W-2's and are going to try and file within the next week.

Anyone feel this crazy busy?

Yikes, I feel super busy, also. Being a wife a mom is SO much more work than you can ever imagine and just when you think your work is done, it's totally NOT. It's definitely worth it but sometimes (every once in a while!) I miss the easy days. Those days weren't full of nearly as much joy though!! :-)

Happy early Birthday to you! I hope your day is special.

Congrats on your blogiversary!

Yup, I feel the chaos and business around here too! Some days I feel like I can't breathe.

Just this month the hubby has changed schedules (sgt promotion) my bithday was last week, my youngest turns 3 tomorrow. I started a new job working 4 days a week and the kids went back to school from winter break, my middle son has pneumonia and now I have another job opportunity come up that I just cant turn down. Where am I going to find the time to get everything done?!!!

It's a mom/wifes life eh?! Were the stronger ones so we can handle it one way or another.

No, I'm not feeling this crazy busy because I have stuck my head in the sand and am totally ignoring all to-do lists and instead and reading my favorite blogs. :) ha.

I'm so with you. But it (almost) all sounds like fun for you!! I'm so jealous you are playing the organ. I never learned and I kind of regret it.
